The national honor society for engineering management, Epsilon Mu Eta, was founded in 2003. The purpose of the society is to recognize Engineering Management students (in bachelor's, master's and doctoral programs) who have demonstrated superior academic achievement and who have displayed exceptional character during their time as students in said programs.

The objectives of the society are:

      • To offer recognition to those students who meet the membership requirements
      • To encourage both high professional and ethical standards among its members
      • To promote and to develop Engineering Management as an engineering educational discipline and as an engineering profession of great worth to society and those who are involved in it.
